Corrections Policy

We will get things wrong. When it happens it goes on the page, dated, where everyone can see it — which is the only version of a corrections policy that means anything.

Telling us about an error

Email corrections@servicecallwire.com with the URL, the exact passage and what is wrong with it. Evidence makes it quicker. We aim to answer within two working days.

How we handle it

  • A factual error gets a correction in the article with a dated note at the foot explaining the change.
  • Typos and formatting that do not shift the meaning get a quiet fix.
  • Anything that changed the conclusion gets its note at the top of the piece.
  • Pulling an article is a last resort — correcting keeps the record, deleting hides it. Only legal or safety reasons get a removal.

What this corrections policy will not do

We do not water down or withdraw accurate reporting because a company asked us to, and editorial coverage is not for sale. If that is what you want, this is the wrong publication.
