Service Call Wire is a trade publication for people who run home and commercial service businesses. Pricing, crews, software, trucks, lead sources — the running of it, not the trade skills, which you already have.
Who this is for
Owners and operations managers. One van or twenty. For example, the person deciding whether to raise the callout fee, whether the dispatch software is worth the seat cost, and whether the lead source that looked cheap last quarter still is.
How we write
Numbers come with a market and a period attached, because a national average is not your city. We name vendor figures as vendor figures. Where licensing or permitting rules differ by state, we say which state we are describing.
Who publishes Service Call Wire
Service Call Wire is a commercially funded publication. We publish our own reporting and we also take paid partner content from companies that sell into the trades. Better you hear that from us on this page than work it out later.
However, it buys placement, not coverage. We label partner content wherever it appears, keep it out of the editorial feed, and mark its outbound links rel="sponsored". The advertising disclosure and the editorial policy have the detail.
How it gets made
We use research and drafting software, AI among it, in production. A person edits everything before it publishes and we answer for it. Where an article rests on a specific source, we link it rather than asking you to take our word.
