Most reporting here runs under the Service Call Wire desk byline. That is on purpose and it is not a hiding place — the publication answers for the piece, rather than a reporter’s name invented to make this look like a bigger room than it is.
What each byline means
- Desk byline. Produced by the publication, credited to Service Call Wire, with the organisation named as the author in the page’s structured data. No fictional reporter on top.
- Named contributors. Written by someone outside, named, with their own site or profile linked from the author line so you can check them yourself.
- Partner content never gets an editorial byline. Label, disclosure panel naming the advertiser, sponsored outbound links — the advertising disclosure has the detail.
About the drafting
