Write for Us

Service Call Wire publishes people who run the work: owners, ops managers, estimators, techs who moved into the office, and the consultants who are in these businesses every week. Specific and checkable is the whole bar.

What we want to read

  • A price you changed and what happened to close rate and margin after you changed it.
  • What a truck, a crew or a callout actually costs you, with the arithmetic shown.
  • Software you have run for a season, including where it fell over and what you did about it.
  • A hiring or retention approach that worked — or did not — with the numbers behind it.

What we will not run

  • Something already published elsewhere in another shape.
  • A product launch written as an article. That has a home here — partner content, labelled — and it is a different conversation.
  • Claims that cannot be checked. If it matters, it gets a source.
  • A draft generated whole and sent unread. It reads exactly like what it is.

How to pitch

Email editor@servicecallwire.com. Point first, what it rests on second, one line on why you are the person writing it third. A finished draft is welcome, not required. Pitching for a client? Say it in the first line — it does not disqualify you and it saves time.

What happens next

We aim to answer inside five working days, including no. Accepted pieces get edited for accuracy, structure and house style, and you see the edit first. You keep the byline, and we link your site or profile once from the author line. No commercial links go into editorial, and we do not accept payment to publish it.

Worth reading the editorial policy first.
